Investing in people In addition to building relationships with clients, Prime Movers also strives to build great relationships with team members. One way they do that is by investing heavily in training and schooling. “We’re a big advocate of sending our guys to get educated,” Spencer says. “Right now, we have a couple of guys going to millwright school, we have guys completing their heavy-duty mechanic’s trade, we have guys getting their Class 1 licenses, and we have guys going to crane school. We’ve also started sending our team leaders for multi-day leadership training.” “We pay our guys to go to school and we pay for their training,” he adds. “We’re investing in our people because it’s the right thing to do. Our growth is only limited by our collective experience and skill, so investing in our people is a big priority of ours. We focus on employee retention. Every single one of our guys is important.
