Learning and growing Currently, NDC Development Corporation is working on a variety of projects. In Vaughan, for example, they are working on the groundup construction of a Burger King for a reap client. In South Etobicoke, meanwhile, they are working on a metal recycling facility – a very large project that involved the demolition of some existing buildings, the paving of almost four acres of property, and then the installation of industrial weight scales. “There have been a lot of challenges on that project,” Frank says, “but nothing we’re afraid and nothing we can’t handle. So it’s actually been kind of cool.” “To be honest, the reason why I love this business is because you never stop learning,” he adds. “On every job I try and preach to myself and my guys, ‘Let’s learn something from this.’ After every job, we always do a post-mortem and we ask ‘What did we learn?’ JANUARY 2025
