Moving forward, Sam says the company’s goal is to keep growing, particularly geographically. Over the next couple years, they want to expand their footprint in Ontario and potentially grow into other provinces with new offices as they are already licenced in 6 different provinces. “When the time comes, depending on how successful the BC office is, we might also expand to Alberta and Ottawa to start new offices,” Sam explains. TCG also intends to continue investing in technology. For example, they are currently working with a software company to develop a new piece of software that will help their clients keep better records on the maintenance status of their equipment, in what they call “digitalization of the maintenance packages.” For the most part, Sam says the industry is behind the times in that arena, as a lot of buildings still have paper systems. He describes the software they are developing as another “one of those outside-the-box things that we’re starting to implement.” FEBRUARY 2025
