A solid foundation Currently, “there’s a lot happening” at both TCG and TFG, according to Sam. The two companies do between 450 and 550 projects per year, and that number is only set to get bigger as both companies grow. Right now, they are especially busy with all things “net zero” and “decarbonisation.” “Heat pumps are the way of the future,” Sam says. “And we are one of the few engineers that have started doing heat pump retrofits. We’re doing a couple of very interesting major heat pump project right now. We’re very excited about those.” Looking beyond multi-residential, TCG has also completed some high-end restaurants in downtown Toronto, where they were the Engineer of Record.
