Last year, they set up a portable concrete branch plant on site there and “we went right down the bedrock and we filled all the nooks and crannies with concrete,” Geoff explains. After creating a “nice flat surface,” they drilled a series of holes for rock anchors that were about 18 metres in depth. When spring comes, the plan is to build the concrete footings for the building and the walls. The actual structural steel of the building itself will likely be erected in summertime.
