He previously worked as a business development manager in the fleet management and vehicle leasing world in Western Canada. He was drawn to Cemen Tech because they were expanding so quickly at the time – and that expansion has continued during his tenure. Jay largely credits that growth to the company’s commitment to innovation and their investment in new technologies. “Cemen Tech puts a lot of pressure on itself to lead to the industry in volumetric mixers,” Jay explains. “The level of technology is always evolving. We always want to have the most advanced automated volumetric mixer on the market, and I think that keeps us on the leading edge.” Again, a good example of that innovation is ACCUPOUR™ – which originally launched right about when Jay joined the company, but in a more basic form. In the years since, Cemen Tech has solicited “piles of input” from customers about the software and how it could be improved. In response to that input, they recently launched a new version of ACCU-POUR™ with added capabilities. According to Jay, the feedback so far has been very positive. Jay also credits Cemen Tech’s rapid growth – particularly in Canada, where he was the first dedicated in-country sales manager – to the FEBRUARY 2025
