Recently, as previously mentioned, Pitt Meadows Plumbing & Mechanical Systems was award-recognized for their work on ‘City of Lougheed Phase One.’ There, the company contributed to the construction of four residential towers at the Lougheed Shopping Centre in Burnaby. About 100 employees of their company worked on the project, and at various points they worked concurrently on all four towers. Matthew cites that project as a strong example of what Pitt Meadows is capable of. “That project is very iconic,” he says. “It was challenging, it was stressful at times, but we overcame all the challenges and we’re proud of that.” “At the same time, we’re humbled by the industry recognition,” he adds, “because there are all sorts of other iconic projects that are being done elsewhere, that are equally as challenging.” Overcoming Challenges
