Recently, the company also constructed a highend kiosk for chain restaurant Ramen Misoya in CIBC Square, Toronto. “This was unique in that it’s a high-end food kiosk with a lot of high-quality custom wood finishes,” he says. This project is actually making a large name for itself in the design world - winning many awards for its unique but traditional design. Another very special recent project for GTA was a stock-market-inspired cocktail lounge called CKTL & Co., located on Bay Street in Toronto, in the heart of the Financial District. “That one is an innovative concept,” Tyler says. “It’s a bit of a game changer in the vibrant culinary scene.” It is a unique stock exchange concept where the price of menu items go up and down based on the demand of the night. Their customers are called traders of the day. “A lot of people like to interact with the panels and displays on the wall. If customers start all ordering the same drink the price shoots up or down.” The common denominator for all these clients is the level of quality they require, says Tyler. “The common theme we hear is they worked with another contractor and all have had issues with communication and quality. They demand the best.
