The Construction Source

means personally working closely with clients throughout the entire design process, offering her unique perspective as a woman in construction and getting to know them on a deeper level than a lot of other builders. “Every home is very personalized,” Joanne emphasizes. “We get to know our clients very well. We get to know their likes, their preferences, their children, their unique circumstances – they become like an extended family to us.” “From the initial design phase to our final touches, we really want to ensure that every detail reflects our client’s needs and style,” she adds. “We want to build their dream home. In order to do that, we have to understand their dreams.” Joanne says it’s not just the client’s current dreams that matter. They also care about the client’s dreams for the future and strive to design their homes to facilitate those long-term dreams. “We’re usually not building in a subdivision,” Joanne explains. “Many of our homes are on land that has been passed down throughout the generations. Most of our clients are not building homes with the intention of selling them in a few years. They want to stay in them for a long time. So we spend a lot of time with each individual family and talking about how their lives are going to possibly change throughout the years, and then we plan. We build accessibility features into the home. We look at features such as elevators and transitional landscape design.” Of course, Homes of Integrity also delivers their homes with a high standard of workmanship – OCTOBER 2024 Photographer: Aaron Galban, Real Estate Agent: Ruthann Osborne
