“That gives them a lot of peace of mind,” he says. “We don’t just install it and drive away. We’ll stand behind everything we install.” Again, Gary says that approach has resulted in some extremely longstanding relationships with customers. The company also has some longstanding relationships with suppliers, as previously mentioned, as well as some longstanding relationships with employees. Gary believes that employee loyalty is particularly critical to the company’s success: “We have the right people in the right places, from our installers to our designers, engineers, project managers, and estimators,” he says. “It truly is a full company effort to take a project right from the development stage right through to the final testing and commissioning. Without the right people in place, companies can’t be successful.” “And we put our people first,” he adds. “That’s why we have people that have been with us from the beginning. We still have some people from the 1980s that are still with us. That’s a testament, I think, to the type of company we are and how we look after our people.” OCTOBER 2024
