A positive culture In addition to building long-term relationships with clients, BAT Construction also strives to build long-term relationships with their personnel and partners. Internally, for example, they employ around 100 people directly. Just like with clients, many of those team members have been with the company for over a decade. Dan credits that loyalty to their “positive work culture.” “A lot goes into that,” he explains. “We really strive to create a good life-work balance for our people. We pay them well. We ensure they’re on good projects, interesting projects that are rewarding to do. We’re flexible. We care. People aren’t just a number here.” The company also invests heavily in training for their employees.
