Growing with clients Currently, Kor Structural is highly active in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan. As previously mentioned, they are mostly working on multiresidential projects – though they do a variety of work within that niche, including a mix of high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise projects, and a mix of concrete and wood-frame buildings. They are also involved with some institutional work, including some community centres and care facilities. Kor Structural continues to be active in southern California – although compared to three or four years ago, the active pace there has slowed down, as financing has become more difficult for many developers. John sees that work picking up again in the future, however. He also sees more opportunities in the state of Washington, which is not that far from them in British Columbia.
