Embracing challenges In recent years, Amped Electrical Contracting has completed a variety of significant multiresidential and commercial projects. For example, they recently finished working on Broad View United Church, which was a project with many dimensions. Though it was a “church first and foremost,” it also had a thrift shop, a day care, event space, and a library. “It’s a one-of-a-kind project,” Chris says. “It’s not just a singleuse building. It has multiple spaces with many different functions and feels.” Those are the kinds of projects Chris personally finds very rewarding, and he believes that the team at Amped feels the same way: “When I was a foreman, I liked the projects that were challenging when you first started working on them,” he says. “I always liked it when I had to dig in and figure out what was going on – and I think we have a lot of guys MAY 2024
