employees can be proud of,” Jared states. “And I want to gain recognition for doing those projects. I want to get our name out there. It’s never a good thing when you hear someone say ‘Gee, I never heard of you.’ I want to do some projects that people have heard of, where we’re recognized for our quality and our delivery. I want to build our brand.” Building that brand is an ongoing process, but over the last few years Amplify Electric has done some large-scale and high profile projects that have gone a long way. For example, they recently completed a 78-unit multi-residential complex in Riverview. They also recently did a retro-themed bowling alley for a local brewery called Holy Whale Brewing Co. And currently, they are working on a 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for CE3 Electronics, a local electronics manufacturer. According to Jared, clients with that calibre of projects tend to choose Amplify Electric due to their exemplary track record. In particular, he says they are known for completing projects on time – which is particularly vital in the commercial sector, where every day a project is delayed is another day the business is not in operation and thus not making money. When it comes to their timeliness, Jared firstly credits Amplify Electric’s “proper planning” and “emphasis on communication.” “We make sure before the job starts that we have the adequate manpower available to be in there at the times that we’re needed,” he explains. “And we’ll check in with the site superintendent or the project manager as we work. We’ll ask how the project is going from their perspective, if they’re MAY 2024
