That project consists of a fivestory wood-framed structure consisting of eighty suites, varying between two, three, and four bedrooms for a total of 190 bedrooms. Each suite has a kitchen and living room, at least one patio, and a separate furnace/air conditioner and thermostat. The exterior of the building consists of a combination of acrylic stucco, brick, Hardie panels, and aluminum composite panels, giving the building a unique modern look. Axis 28 Apartments – Lethbridge, Alberta Irvine Community Resource Centre, meanwhile, was a design-build project completed by Midwest Design & Construction Ltd. out of Medicine Hat. The new community resource facility is intended to host community gatherings and events, while also functioning as a library. The scope of work consisted of all related site work, including clearing, grubbing, and leveling the new building location, as well as installing a new park structure, a covered patio, landscaping, and a paved parking lot. The wood-framed structure has an open-concept floor plan with a vaulted ceiling and high windows that create an abundance of natural light inside. The exterior features various attractive and durable finishes, including stucco, Lux wood grain metal panels, cultured stone, and a standing seam metal roof.
