out on their own. Together, the three brothers formed BC Brick Supplies in 1993. Growing up, Logan, his sister, Tori, and his cousins, Devin and Bobbi, all worked for the family business part-time. By the early 2000s, they were old enough to join in a full-time capacity. The four of them represent the next generation of BC Brick Supplies and they are now in the process of succeeding their parents. Since he’s been there, Logan says BC Brick Supplies has been growing at a “really good, constant pace.” “The market in Vancouver has been really good,” he explains. “The need for masonry and landscape supplies has only grown. If anything, landscaping has really taken off over the last 20 years, so we’ve seen some very steady growth and expansion in terms of the size of our yard and our staff.” These days, BC Brick Supplies primarily services contractors and developers, though Logan estimates about 10-to-15 per cent of their business is DIYers. When it comes to both client types, he believes BC Brick Supplies is a provider of choice due to their high level of customer care. “We definitely care about our customers and about how they feel after leaving our store,” he says. “We want them to get what they need from us. We want to provide them with the best knowledge and advice possible and with products that are going to meet their needs.
