Bright Construction is a professional siding and exterior contractor based in Courtland, Ontario. With over 30 years of combined experience and a positive mindset to ‘get the job done,’ we have what it takes to make our clients’ project ideas a reality.” With a father working as a plumber who often did general construction projects around the family home, Jake learned about the industry firsthand. He started his professional career in exteriors around 2016, and then started his own company in 2018. Though the company started off exclusively doing siding, the more general name ‘Bright Construction’ was chosen deliberately, as part of a long-term strategy to ensure the company wouldn’t be limited in terms of their capabilities and services. As Jake explains it, “We went with Bright Construction so that we could implement other things, so we wouldn’t just be doing siding. While exterior siding is still our main gig, we wanted to be able to offer roofing, windows, and doors – which we have now been doing since the fall of 2023.” “Many times, the siding and roofing tie into each other, especially with the colors,” he adds. “The windows and doors are the same way. When you’re redoing your siding it’s a good time to replace your windows. It’s nice to be able to offer multiple exterior factors like that. Now we’re doing a little more general contracting and are even building a whole addition. This helps to close the gap between the clients hiring several people to us managing the project.” JUNE 2024
