with cabinetry options at every price point, in every style, and for every function. That product versatility is represented by the company’s three distinct product lines – Essentials, Elements, and Custom. The Essentials line is affordable, versatile, and ready-to-assemble, ideal for clients who are looking for quick turnarounds. The Elements line, meanwhile, comes in a range of styles, colours, and sizes, delivered quickly and efficiently to keep clients’ projects on time while still enabling them to realize their own specific design vision. The Custom line, lastly, features fully personalized cabinetry products that are made to order, and built by leveraging every style, colour, material, and hardware technology available to Westwood Cabinetry. Westwood’s direct clients also appreciate that adaptability when it comes to product selection. Westwood is known for their uncompromising commitment to seeing a job through from beginning to end: “We never go into a job without finishing it,” says Rishelle. “We never start something we can’t produce. We never leave people high and dry. We understand our part in the construction industry. We try to be everything we can for our customers from the design phase to installation.” The company believes that installation can make or break a kitchen. “We ensure that the high level of quality our customer gets from their first step into the showroom – and working with Westwood’s designers – filters all the way through the showroom, the plant, the engineering, the delivery and installation to the final wipe of your cabinetry to ensure it meets exactly the vision you had at the start of it.” “Service and quality. That’s who we are and that’s what we’re known for. We will always commit to that,” says Rishelle. This high level of quality filters through several different checks and balances, both from the sales and design phases and the order entry department. In the factory, quality control is top-of-mind for every department attached to manufacturing, starting with the case goods, through the paint department, and the assembly at end of line. Westwood’s team does a preinspection of the site, the delivery, the installation, and a post inspection walk-through. Once all the pieces are complete and the handles and toekicks have been added, there’s a final inspection to make sure everything on the checklist has been looked over. This all adds up to an excellent customer experience. “Between our full-service department that connects with our customers once the product has left our factory, quality control runs through our service department,” says Rishelle. “They carry the communication through to ensure the customers are kept attuned to all of the additional visits that need to be carried out to complete the work. Once all that is done, we want to connect with them on the last line of it from a Google review, or just connection points to ensure the project is complete as per their expectations. We put our best foot forward on communications.” That combination of quality and communication has led to some long-standing clients and employees for Westwood Cabinetry. According to Rishelle, some clients go back well over 20 years, and some employees are similarly longstanding. “This place has always had the best intentions,” she says. “We all have the same positive mindset in all departments. The positivity in the culture and best intent is at the forefront of what we do. It makes this an easy place to work. It is always full THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
