They are also COR Certified, and to stay up to date they mandate monthly safety meetings, weekly in-field tailgate meetings, and daily hazard assessments. “We spend a lot of time talking about safety,” Wes understates. “We have frequent meetings and discussions. We have safety programs that are constantly maintained. We have a team that really looks after each other.” As a result of their quality, safety, and diversity, RSFS has earned the opportunity to be involved in a number of large scale infrastructure and commercial projects. Recent high-profile examples include the University of British Columbia Biomedical Engineering Building in Vancouver, the Site C Dam in Fort St. John, the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir in Calgary, and the Yellowhead Trail Freeway in in Edmonton.
