in the longevity of those relationships. In terms of clients, for example, he says they have retained “pretty much every client we’ve ever had.” And in terms of suppliers, he says “we have established excellent relationships,” which he predicts “will continue to blossom and expand as we continue to grow.” One example of a longstanding supplier would be Direct Scaffold Supply (DSS), a company that manufactures and supplies the entire scaffolding, shoring and formwork catalogue of products to direct customers and distributors around the world. DSS works with global suppliers to engineer and manufacture their products, and they have built an enviable reputation over the years due to their first-class customer service, highlycompetitive pricing, and their robust and rigorous QA/QC program, which is the most extensive in the industry. At Hinton Scaffold Solutions, they understand can only be a leader in the design, planning, erection and dismantling of scaffolding if the scaffold products they are using in the first place are of the highest quality – which is why they like working with DSS. In the future, in collaboration with partners like DSS – and in collaboration with their existing clients and their dedicated team members – Hinton Scaffold’s vision is to keep growing and delivering on major projects. As previously mentioned, they are currently busy working in Canada’s oil sands, as well as Saskatchewan’s potash industry and British Columbia’s waterworks industry. Those are all very active industries, Brandon says, which means Hinton Scaffold will have a lot of opportunity to grow, so long as they maintain their high standard of safety and keep providing the quality service. “There’s a lot happening all at once,” he concludes. “It’s a very exciting time in our offices.” JUNE 2024
