In the case of White Pines, Michael says there’s a Home Hardware “right around the corner,” which they try to source as much material from as possible. The electricians they are working with are similarly locally-based, as are the carpenters. The draftsman they used for the design is from nearby Saint John. The project manager they hired is also a local – he was living somewhere else prior to the project, but he wanted to move back to be closer to family, so Robins Investments hired him and gave him that opportunity. “We really want to kind of establish our company as a local company,” Michael says. “Me personally, I’m probably the only thing that’s not local.” THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
