of two large bedrooms, a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom, a laundry room between the bedrooms, and an open concept kitchen and living room area. It also included sophisticated features such as vaulted ceilings, quartz countertops, an 18000 BTU heat pump, range top, faux brick, and all new Samsung appliances. Robins Investments didn’t do the development there – just the building and selling – but Michael cites that project as a good example of the quality they always strive to achieve. Another similar project was called ‘Starlite.’ That, too, was located in Summerside. It consisted of two semi-detached homes with two bedrooms each. Robins Investments purchased those lots, built and sold those two units, and now they are now building two more units nearby. Robins Investments also has land in Rothesay, New Brunswick – a lot of it, in fact. In partnership with two other developers, they purchased 38 acres – “essentially one of the last major parcels” between Rothesay and Saint John, according to Michael. That land acquisition was made with families in mind and the eventual development will have a mixture of semi-detached, single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-unit apartment buildings. Michael is very excited about that opportunity, though he says development is not likely to start for another two years. In the meantime, the project taking up most of the company’s attention is called ‘White Pines,’ located in the nearby town of Hampton, New Brunswick. That project will comprise a mixture of 30 one-storey garden homes and a 24-unit apartment building spread across seven acres. THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
