“That was always my goal,” Patrick says. “I wanted to start by doing the design, I wanted to learn the whole process, and then I wanted to start doing project management. We’ve finally gotten to that point. We are insured and licensed to do everything including.” The house DW Land Development Services is working on now is a designbuild for a client. Within the next couple years, Patrick hopes to graduate to buying his own lots and then building his own custom spec homes on them. Over the years, he’s worked closely with a lot of high quality contractors and subcontractors, and his goal is to leverage those relationships in order to design and build some “hopefully beautiful homes.” As for the type of homes he wants to build, Patrick explains that he wants to do his part to help mitigate the growing housing crisis afflicting the country. That means building housing product that is affordable and attainable, such as coach homes and tiny homes. As Patrick, that’s long been a goal of his, and now that goal is within reach. “I always tell clients that my goal is to bring their dreams to reality,” he concludes. “I definitely want to keep doing that, but I also want to start bringing some of my own dreams to reality.” JULY 2024
