Valued and respected Munsoor has implemented a number of perks, in addition to the standard health benefits offered, to help show his employees that he appreciates them and the commitment they have made to the company. “If our people feel they are valued and respected, they are going to naturally pay that forward to our customers.” He says they do a weekly grocery run to keep their refrigerator stocked with drinks and have fruits like apples, bananas, and oranges available. “In case somebody comes to work, and they haven’t had breakfast, or they forgot their lunch, at least there’s something there to eat. Then, they are feeling better and they’re going to perform better,” he explains. They also host team building events like going bowling as a group. Employees are nominated for monthly recognitions for performance with recipients receiving “Q-Bucks” that can be redeemed with certain vendors or for cash. Munsoor says there is a $50 and a $75 reward each month. Summer barbecues for employees and their families as well as the Christmas party happen every year. “During Covid, we had to be creative, but we had staff events during that time as well.” He also has annual bonusses that get distributed during the holiday season.
