new and exciting. We want to figure out what’s possible.” Lastly, in addition to taking on bigger projects, Home Fashions also intends to grow bigger as a company. As previously mentioned, they are currently in the process of introducing a new inhouse cabinet manufacturing division as well as a new modular home division. The new cabinet division will manufacture cabinetry both for Home Fashions as well as other builders and developers. According to Dan, that division will enable Home Fashions to reduce their lead times by about 80 per cent compared to their current supplier. He also says it will enable them to have a tighter control over quality, while offering clients better price points and a wider selection. The modular home division, meanwhile, will enable Home Fashions to deliver new homes while navigating the trade shortage afflicting the industry. As Jarred explains, modular homes can be delivered a lot faster than a site-built home, meaning less trades are required on site for delivery, and the trades that are required don’t have to be there as long. “We want to do new homes, but we didn’t want to deal with typical new home timelines,” Jarred says. “Working with Supreme Homes was the solution. Working with them gives us the ability to do some new builds and to build some beautiful spaces, but without have to deal with a lot of the challenges that come with a typical site-built home.” With that relationship in place, Home Fashions is truly equipped to provide clients with a complete range of design and construction services. No matter what the client requires, they have the ability to provide it for them at a high standard, and to provide the client with personalized care and attention to detail along the way. That quality and care – combined with their ability to solve complex challenges – to power the company for a long time to come. APRIL 2024
