John McLellan Contracting Inc. is a Pickering-based company that provides a wide range of construction related solutions for homeowners and business owners alike. Since forming almost 30 years ago, their company have grown steadily in terms of both size and reputation. From the start, that growth has been powered by the quality of the products and the attentiveness of the service that they have provided to their valued customers. “Since establishing in 1995, we have focused on a customerfirst business model,” says John McLellan, the company’s eponymous founder and president. “Over 90 per cent of our revenue is from repeat and referral customers.” Throughout the company’s history, McLellan Contracting has performed a variety of different services, though their main focus has always been roofing. McLellan Contracting also works with a diverse array of clients on a variety of projects. John estimates that one-third of the company’s business is singlefamily residential, another third is condominiums, and the final third is a mix of government and commercial work. When it comes to their sloped roof contracting, McLellan works exclusively with GAF Roofing Products and Systems. In fact, they are a certified GAF Master Elite® roofer – that’s a prestigious certification, as only a small number of roofing contractors in the country have qualified.
