On the residential side, they recently finished a significant renovation in Richmond, where they rebuilt a 100-year-old home and added a 1,200-square-foot addition. In that case, not only did they work within the complicated municipal guidelines, they also helped guide the customer through the process of achieving heritage zoning for their property. “We not only preserved the home that had been there since the early 1920s, but we also helped preserve the property, so that house can never be knocked down,” Lloyd explains. “That was a major goal of the customer, and a huge initiative on our behalf.
