According to Kendall, the team at Diamond Contracting values that industry recognition “a lot.” “We’re completely humbled by being selected as ‘Renovator of the Year,’ in particular,” she says. “I’m actually the co-chair on the CHBA Renovation Committee, so I know how much talent there is in this city alone. It’s a vast amount of talent. To be recognized among that talent is huge for us.” “The biggest thing for us is watching our our team accept that award,” she adds. “Especially at the awards night, when we all went and we all got to cheer together and hug and cry and have a big moment when we won. It was so important for me and Sheldon to share that moment with our team. Because we know can only do so much – it’s our guys and gals that make us look good, so the award’s really for them.” “So being able to share that award with our team, and being in such good company with the rest of the renovators in Edmonton – that makes it very meaningful,” Kendall says.
