aspect of the project,” he says. “We do that all the way through the process, from concept all the way through to completion. Whether it’s about the schedule, or whether it’s about if we’re going to be able to build something a certain way – whatever it is, we try to be as honest as possible.” On the topic of scheduling, he adds that “we aim to set very fair timelines for our teams to meet,” and “we think one of the most important things we can do is be realistic about what our output really is.” “And if there’s a problem, we’re honest,” Frank emphasizes. “If there’s a push, and the client or the builder wants to get the project completed within however many weeks, and that’s not a feasible thing – then we just tell them that. We tell the truth every step of the way. At the end of the day, I think that clients really appreciate that.” As previously stated, clients also appreciate the quality that Frank + Co consistently delivers. Frank credits that consistency to the systems and processes they have in place: “We’re verifying our work at multiple stages throughout the project. We have forms our guys need to fill out that ensure they are double or even triplechecking their work. We’re constantly reviewing our work to ensure that nothing is missed – and we’re doing it stage by stage, not just at the end of the job, so if there is an issue it can be caught and mitigated early, before it piles up and one issue becomes 10.” Frank also credits the company’s quality to the talent and dedication of their team. The company has about 13 people in-house – nine in the field, four in the office – and everyone is highly capable and qualified, as mentioned previously. The same goes for the company’s roster of subcontractors – Frank says they are very selective about the trades they work with, and once they find people they trust, the relationships they form tend to be longstanding.
