Hammer & Castle is a general contractor based in Bolton, Ontario, specializing in home additions, restorations, and remodels, as well as custom carpentry. For over a decade, they have been successfully operating in their local region, becoming known for their top-notch customer service and their high level of craftsmanship. In recent years, the company has officially incorporated and expanded. Under the ownership of husband-and-wife team Peter and Stephanie Blandizzi, they have grown quickly in in terms of reputation and renown, as well as in terms of the size, scope, and complexity of their projects. Peter Blandizzi has personally been working in construction for over 16 years, ever since graduating from George Brown College with a Bachelor of Technology in Building Renovation / Construction Management. Over the course of his career, he has worked on countless projects, doing everything from home additions and restorations to big and small renovations, to project management of commercial projects. Stephanie, meanwhile, went to school for business. Prior to meeting Peter she had a career in insurance, where she managed a team of five people – though she always had a love of design and DIY projects. Teaming up with Peter helped her put that passion into practice – she fondly recalls their second date, when they built a closet in her bedroom – and after a few years together she decided to join Hammer & Castle full time.
