If there’s an initial misunderstanding as to what the client is asking for, then there are going to be problems upon delivery. We do everything we can to avoid those problems.” Communication isn’t the only essential ingredient when it comes to quality, however. Kyle says that having a high calibre team is equally vital: “If you understand exactly what the client is asking for but if you don’t have a group of people that can execute to their level of expectations, then you’re going to fail,” he says. “So our people deserve most of the credit. That includes our people at all levels – everyone from the mechanics in our shop to the drivers in our trucks to our equipment operators to everyone in between. Our people are what differentiate us.” Over the years, TerraPro has built some longstanding relationships with many of their direct team members. According to Colin, many of those employees have been with the business for over 10 years. Colin says several employees even go back all the way to day one. As for their suppliers, he says their relationships typically go back just as long or longer.
