Phoenix Glass is a manufacturer, supplier, and installer of highperformance architectural glass and aluminum products. Since forming over 30 years ago, they have successfully completed well over $500 million worth of glazing projects throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and beyond. Many of those projects were technically complex, and while completing them the company has grown in size and renown, they have won a number of industry awards, and they have become known for their creative thinking and expertise. These days, the company is continuing down the path set out by their founders – they are taking on challenging projects, winning industry accolades, and growing both their team and their capabilities. “We are a growing company which now employs over 130 people – people diverse in backgrounds, experience and know-how,” says Sunny Minhas, CFO & Director of Operations. “We seek to constantly improve our techniques to remain specialists in the glazing industry. We’re dedicated to offering our clients the best in service, customized products and craftsmanship.” Phoenix Glass was originally founded in 1992 starting from a “modest but agile” 2,500-square-foot warehouse on Annacis Island. In short order, the family business become one of Western Canada’s largest suppliers of locally manufactured fenestration products and services, and they developed a reputation for “providing unparalleled custom-design options.” By 2003, Phoenix employed well over 70 full time office staff, fabricators, and installers, and to accommodate their growth they moved into a new 20,000-square foot headquarters. Even as they grew, however, they continued to maintain their family-first approach, which helped earn the loyalty of both customers and employees. (To this day DECEMBER 2023
