going to do.” “I think that’s the downfall of lots of builders,” he goes on. “They either don’t show up on time, or they show the client a low price up front and then they end up charging way more than they said after they get the job done. That’s not us. We want to be here a long time and we want to build repeat relationships with our customers.” Recently, RWH also completed a project on Sturgeon Lake, where they tore down a 75-year-old cottage on a large property by the lake, and replaced it with a modern cottage and boathouse that takes maximum advantage of the location. “The customer had purchased the property and didn’t really have any vision as to what they wanted to do,” Ryan recalls. “They had a budget in mind and they knew they needed some space for all their family, but that was about it. So we designed and built them a really beautiful modern cottage and three-bay boathouse and detached garage with a living quarters above.” “We took care of it all,” he adds. “We did all the permitting aspects and all the interior design. We did all the landscaping. It ended up being an absolutely beautiful space for the client and their family – and they were amazed with the transformation of the property. They had no idea we’d be able to do what we did with the place. They’re quite happy with what we pulled off.” Moving forward, RWH Construction’s goal is to continue pulling off those kinds of waterfront projects – and to continue earning that level of customer satisfaction as THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
