culture can be described as a “learning environment.” “One of the best things about our general atmosphere in the company is that everyone wants to teach someone something and at the same time everyone wants to learn something new. So, basically it’s a very actively learning environment. Everyone is learning something new every day and we put a lot of emphasis on information sharing and knowledge sharing. “Whenever we get something new or a new technology or a new feature, we gather the whole team, and we deliver it to them and we discuss it in order to always be very technically savvy with our customers. All our team understands that we are supposed to be the advisor to our customers. Our customers come to us not because they want to select something; they come to us because they don’t know what they need to select.” “Another thing about our team is we’re all friends.” Rami says that while the company does have a structure or hierarchy, it isn’t obvious. “Everyone is everyone’s colleague and friend. You would see the sales department sitting with the technical department talking about common interest subjects. The salespeople want to fill it. The technology people want to implement it. Those conversations are usually very fun.” Rami says their relationships with vendors are like partnerships. “We understand what they do, and they understand what we do. We have a very good relationship with communication back and forth. THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
