VT Controls has been providing quality building automation systems (BAS) to a range of customers in the Niagara, Hamilton, Mississauga region for over a decade. Starting with dependability, user friendliness, accurate programming, and commissioning, they maintain their top-notch product with excellent service and support. “You could look at us as the people who can translate people and machine language,” states Rami Abulibdeh, managing director at VT Controls. “Whenever there is a customer who would like to communicate with their equipment or machines, they would need us in the picture.” VT Controls was founded by Vince Trumel in 2008. Rami joined in 2018, and the company has grown and expanded a lot under his leadership. “Our team is around 38 employees,” Rami says. “We have actually grown a lot in the last five years. We started with four to five employees in 2018, so we’re talking about three doubles.” Their company motto is “We make technology accessible.” Services delivered by VT Controls include: systems and operation assessment and evaluation; BAS integration and data management; IoT and IIoT projects implementation and support; BAS and DDC Controls comprehensive sourcing, implementation, and service; and, energy monitoring, optimization, and management. Rami says that their projects take them to both new builds and existing structures. He explains that their work with facilities and systems that are already in place is a main point in setting them apart from the competition.
