In their custom builds, they maintain the high quality of the production homes and add an ENERGY STAR component. All of their custom homes are ENERGY STAR certified. “We’ve made the step to ENERGY STAR certification and we’re one of the few builders in our area that are ENERGY STAR certified,” Brad says. While they don’t add ENERGY STAR to a production home at present, Brad says, “We build it with the same love and care and dedication that we would in building a custom home.” He says they are often looking at new technologies – like ENERGY STAR – and how they can integrate them into the homes they build. It’s this “willingness to think a bit outside the box” that helps set Frontier Homes apart from the competition. They are willing to try to accommodate a customer’s particular wish list for their home and build to suit their needs and wants. Brad says this commitment to service and quality and how they build relationships with clients also makes them stand out in the construction industry. He stresses the importance of individualized attention and one-on-one interaction in his relationships with the company’s clients. “It’s a personal connection and it’s a personal responsibility. I own the company, but I’m also actively involved with the customers and the whole building process. “I enjoy working personally with my customers to really get to know them so I can build DECEMBER 2023
