In particular, they are becoming known for the thoughtfulness of their builds, as well as the attention to detail they invest in every single project: “We’re not just trying to pump out semi-detached buildergrade homes,” Jared says. “We try to put a lot of effort and a lot of thought into every part of every home we build. We always consider how the client is going to use it, how the home is supposed to function, and how we can make it function more efficiently.” “Beyond that, we always love to throw in a couple special details,” he adds. “Whether that’s a nice big custom stone fireplace or a unique exterior finish – we try to add in things where we can to enhance the project and make it stand-out. We typically don’t charge for those details the way that we maybe should – we just like to write our signature on all of our custom homes.” Over the past few years, North Wood has also become well known for their high standard of workmanship standards of quality. Jared says that quality control starts at the top, with him and Dan personally. “On our custom builds, me as the CEO and Dan as the VP, we make sure we show up on site quite frequently,” Jared explains. “We’re not doing that so we can hover, but just so we can make sure that we’re delivering the quality that North Wood Homes has become known for.
