Keeping up the momentum In recent years, Emco Waterworks Interior has been involved in a number of high profile and exciting projects, in Kelowna and beyond. For example, they are currently working on the West Kelowna Transmission Mains Project, which will provide fresh drinking water to a large portion of the city of West Kelowna. In addition, the company recently worked on the Trepanier Interconnect Project – a project within the District of Peachland, designed to connect the Peachland Creek and Trepanier Creek water systems. That project consists of approximately 2.5 kilometres of water main, two new pressure-reducing stations, and upgrades within the Cousins Road reservoir. It also involves a number of firsts for BC’s interior – for example, it’s the region’s first high-pressure 350 psi High Deflection ductile iron water main pipe, which was installed on slopes of 70 to 75 degrees.
