Sunrise is a developer and builder of customhomes across the Greater Toronto Area. They were founded in 2002 with a simple goal – to create “sophisticated homes designed to accommodate and enhance the quality of life of individuals and modern families,” according to Arthur Ren, founder and president. Today, the company continues to live up to that goal on a large scale, while also acting as a builder for other developers. We stand by the craftsmanship we deliver and ensure the complete satisfaction of each homeowner.” Arthur personally comes from a deep background in design and construction – he’s a second-generation builder, and he studied architecture at the University of Toronto. All his life, he’s been fascinated by homebuilding, and by the impact that someone’s home can have on their overall wellbeing, quality of life, and day-to-day experiences. That fascination led him to design and building, and eventually starting Sunrise as a custom home building company. For the first five or six years of the company’s life, Sunrise built about 20 custom homes in total.
