The company now employs roughly 160 people. “It’s a longstanding company, but it’s also a rapidly growing company,” Peter says. “When I started, there were only two locations. There was our headquarters in Chilliwack and our Lethbridge location.” The Lethbridge location was acquired from another company in 2009 – the owner of that company is now one of the partners in the business. Since 2019, Southern Irrigation also started a location in Red Deer, Alberta. The same year, they acquired another irrigation company, and in 2020 they acquired yet another. Those acquisitions resulted in new locations across BC, in Kamloops, Williams Lake, and Oliver.
