Planning for retention Another important relationship for Edge Innovations is the relationship they have with their employees. The company has grown dramatically over the last three years, so many of their people are relatively new, but Glynn says the goal is to keep them around: “We’re planning for retention,” hesays. “I believeweunderstand what it takes, and I believe we’re creating an environment where people that show our values are going to want to be for many years.” A key part of retaining people is keeping them safe.
