The Construction Source

The One, meanwhile, is another “beautiful transitional custom home,” that time located in neighbourhood of Bridgeland, moments away from Calgary’s downtown core. That detached custom home features a beautiful brown, white and grey colour scheme throughout. Pedro is particularly proud of the kitchen, which he calls “very unique and eye-catching.” Functional built-ins were used throughout; such gorgeous mudroom lockers, the pantry, and a built-in expansive office desk, to name a few. That home is 2,339 square feet above ground and has an 829-square foot fully-developed basement with a recreation room. Then there’s Miyagi – a traditional custom home located in Charleswood, a well-established, residential neighbourhood. That project showcases a beautiful coffered ceiling in the open concept kitchen and great room. Impressive barn doors are located in the basement, for both functionality and design. According to Pedro, the home “stays true to its colour scheme from exterior to the interior; holding strong uses of white, with black and white oak accents.” He also says that hints of navy can be seen throughout the interior as a “beautiful supplementary colour.” The ensuite has a gorgeous soaker tub and walk-in shower, with a walk-in closet for functionality. According to Pedro, those projects are just three examples among a long list of projects he is extremely proud of. Those examples turned out very well, and the clients were very happy, but that’s true of virtually every project Sunset delivers. They give every client the same attention to detail and strive for the same level of quality finish MARCH 2022
