People want you to be more responsive. They want you to be online. We’re very responsive, and we have a pretty good online presence. I think that’s pretty rare for an electrical company around here.” That online presence is especially valuable, Tyler believes, because Pictou County is growing and a lot of new people are coming to the area. When those newcomers are looking for plumbers and electricians, they often start by “jumping on Facebook” – where Those Guys is very visible and where they have accumulated some highly positive reviews. According to Tyler, that’s how they generate most of their business. The rest, he adds, comes from repeat work from contractors. On both the plumbing and electrical side, Tyler says they have formed some strong and lasting relationships with a handful of companies: “We’re their go-to,” he says. “If they have a job, they call us first – and we make sure we’re there.” Those Guys earns that kind of loyalty by “making things easier,” Tyler says.
