He says the same drive that powered Daniel Lefebvre continues to power the company today: “We really care,” he says. “We treat our client’s projects like they are our own.” “We’ve done some of our own projects,” he adds. “On the Quebec side, we purchased some land, we built our own office, and now we rent out the units we’re not using. That was our own project; we put a lot of attention and care into. You might think we put extra attention and care into it, but you’d be mistaken. That’s how we treat all of our projects.” “Our president is so adamant about that,” he says. “He started off the company as a carpenter himself and he did a lot of the early work himself, and he was very meticulous and detailoriented. That attitude has transferred to the rest of us. We respect that working here is just about making money. It’s about showing clients the level of quality that we’re capable of.” These days, that quality is still driven from the top – from Daniel, and the principals he’s instilled–but it’s furtherensured by a carefully-designed and technology-supported system of quality control. As part of that system, Angus says there is “constant communication between our site supervisors and our project managers” and a “constant focus on identifying and resolving deficiencies.” “We have a constant flow of photos and updates,” he explains. “Any issue that gets noticed gets flagged right away and gets distributed to our subs attention, so they can fix it right JULY 2022
