opportunity to take some extra time and put some extra care. “ According to Tyler, their relationship with the client on that project was “fantastic.” As testament to that, the owners took them on their Christmas party to Halifax in the winter and to their summer staff party as Liscombe Lodge. They also reviewed the finished product very positively: “They were very happy,” Tyler says. “It was a journey getting there, because so much changed over the course of the three years, but they were very understanding and collaborative at all points. At the end of the day, they were very happy with the final product.” Moving forward, Those Guys Plumbing and Electrical hopes to do more projects of that kind of size and complexity – but at the same time, they have no plans on leaving the smaller jobs behind. They feel like they have a goodmix of the two now, and are at a good size where they can do both. “In terms of size, we’ve already exceeded where we wanted to be,” Tyler says. “We’re pretty happywherewe are. I can see us maybe adding another plumber and hopefully somebody fulltime in the office, but that’s about it. Right now it’s more about doing some fine-tuning behind the scenes. Size-wise, we’re where we want to be – we just want to keep getting better.” JULY 2022
