Solving the problem An official ground breaking ceremony took place at the site of the Drayton Valley Brazeau Aquatic Centre in April, 2021. Construction is expected to take approximately 18 months, with a projected opening date in the fall of 2022. In the meantime, the IPD team is meeting every Tuesday, and will continue to meet weekly through the project’s duration.
