do some light commercial light work – they recently built a hairdressing school, for instance. “We like to make sure we’re not always doing the same stuff,” Sabrina explains. “We like to mix it up. That makes things interesting for us and keeps our team engaged.” On the same note, the company also intends to dabble in their own developments. This year, they intend to build a mixeduse multi-residential building, with commercial tenancies on the ground and apartment rentals up above. That’s being designed by the architectural firm Philippe used to work for. He says that if the project goes well – and if he and Sabrina enjoy working on it – they will look into doing more buildings along the same lines. “We’re open-minded,” Sabrina concludes. “We want to do different things. We also want to use different products. We want to keep up with the latest trends and innovations. I think that helps with clients too – they want what’s ‘in,’ and we stay on top of that.
