Sadly, scaffolding tends to be one of the elements of the industry that can be neglected.” That neglect is unfortunate, he explains, because scaffolding is a high cost for many projects – it can be up to 30 per cent of the total budget of major projects – and small inefficiencies can lead to major overages.
