Accommodating for varying lot sizes is only a small glimpse of the kind of customization that allows Crawford Homes to retain a strong hold in the market. In fact, most of the work done by Crawford Homes is custom built or requires a number of customizations to meet the demands of the consumer. “Mostly everything we do is custom built,” says Kaitlin. “We have numerous in-house plans. We always allow customers to come and do customizations, like move walls, for no extra charge.Wedoalmost 90percent custom work. Customization will always set us apart. We can build you plans from the ground up. You can take any or our plans and move them. We can make sure they suit the function and needs of your daily life. That is always a huge focus of ours.” Crawford Homes always assures that their consumer has a good experience, and partly they do that by including the consumer in the process. The team at Crawford Homes works to help them feel comfortable at all stages by being always available and responsive. In fact, the CEO, Al Bashutski, is always available to help address consumers’ concerns or to answer questions about the process. The goal of the company is to make the consumer feel supported by the entirety of the team from beginning to end. Kaitlin Bashutski confirms, “We have a lot of long-term employees.
