THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA That development will also achieve a range of social objectives, which is particularly exciting to the team at Cascadia Green. For example, it will include nine suites at 25 to 45 per cent equity through a proposed partnership with the City of North Vancouver and B.C. Housing. That project will also include suites as part of a rent-to-own program, allowing purchasers who have good jobs, but don’t have enough saved for a down payment, to convert two years of rent into a down payment. There will also be two daycares, which one of them is owned by the city to be leased to a non- profit operator who will use the proceeds to subsidize social programs in Vancouver. Cascadia Green is also involved in other projects and initiatives achieving similar outcomes. For example, they are part of ‘Balanced Housing Lab,’ which is an innovative partnership between the City of North Vancouver, District of West Vancouver, Squamish Nation, senior levels of government, and other stakeholders. Together, they are working to develop solutions to the housing challenges facing their communities. As part of that program, Cascadia Green is currently working on a project 115 East Keith Road. That project involves the development of a six-storey rental residential building, with 10 per cent of the units designated as ‘mid- market rental.’ Moving forward, Cascadia Work Zone Traffic Plans Transportation Impact Assessments Transportation Demand Strategies Roadway Functional Planning Parking Demand Strategies Victor Ngo PLANNING Jeeshan Ahmed ENGINEERING Thomas Thivener ACTIVE MODES WATT CONSULTINGGROUP.COM | 778-309-1253 REQUEST PROPOSAL WATT is proud to partner with Cascadia Green Development in the creation of vibrant and livable communities.
